Decision to permit Heathrow third runway goes to Judicial Review - Nigel Pleming QC & Richard Wald appear in court on behalf of the coalition opposing the runway
26th March 2010
The coalition's lawyers claim that the consultation process was fundamentally flawed and that the decision to expand Heathrow is at odds with the UK's overall climate change targets.
The coalition consists of thirteen organisations made up of local councils, leading green groups and residents' groups.
All the claimants are represented by Harrison Grant (solicitors) instructing Nigel Pleming QC and Richard Wald of Thirty Nine Essex Street, Nathalie Lieven QC and David Forsdick of Landmark Chambers
