Costs Cases Online consists of those cases determined after 1st January 2005 which we believe have value as precedents. With the passage of time we expect it to become a major research resource not only for Costs-draftsmen but equally for Solicitors, Barristers and the Courts.
Each case has two summaries, a very brief one and a fuller one. To find the case you want you can browse the brief summaries or you can search by case-name or keyword or do a full word-search. Once you find the brief summary you want, you can access the full summary by clicking on the case name.
Although we cannot supply transcripts of the cases summarised here, by clicking on the citation for each case you can use the excellent JustCite to link seamlessly from our database to a list of full transcripts, some of which are free and some of which are available only to subscribers.
If you experience any difficulty in using the database or have any suggestions for improvements, please e-mail charlie.leppington@39essex.com
We offer a free subscription service under which we e-mail subscribers each month with the summaries of the last month’s cases. If you would like to subscribe to this service please email charlie.leppington@39essex.com
Whilst we try to see that the database is accurate and reasonably comprehensive, we do not warrant that this is so and neither Thirty Nine Essex Street nor any of the contributors accept any liability, whether in negligence or otherwise, for anything stated in or omitted from the database.
